Right here in the office, Alejandro Verdugo, MD, has the most advanced imaging equipment to help diagnose problems affecting your muscles, nerves, bones, skin, tendons, or ligaments. Your X-rays will be done in the office, and if you need an MRI or musculoskeletal ultrasound, we can do that, too.
You won’t have to travel anywhere else for the best diagnostic tools available. Not only is this convenient for our patients, but it significantly reduces the amount of time it takes to make a diagnosis and begin treatment.
Our on-site testing and diagnostic services include:

An MRI allows the doctor to see fluid build-up and detect very small fractures that might not be seen with an X-ray. Dr. Verdugo also uses an MRI to look for torn cartilage, tendons, and ligaments. A CT scan is more commonly used for head and neck injuries. Musculoskeletal ultrasound captures images of muscles, tendons, joints, and soft tissue in real time, showing movement and function.
